Living Wills (Advance Decision)

A living will allows you to set out your wishes to refuse medical treatment if there came a time when you were unable to communicate or make your own decision. For example, you can provide directions to refuse treatment such as CPR, life support etc. and set out the person or people you would want to be involved in making decisions on your behalf.

Provided the document is valid and applicable it will be legally binding. It is important to regularly review your living will to ensure that it is still valid and applicable.
